Terms of Service

Welcome to coachseekers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and coachseekers ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of our website, services, and applications (collectively the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Coaches listing on the platform additionally represent that they have the right to offer the services they describe and that the information in their profile is accurate.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or compromise the Service's integrity.

Coach profiles may be created either by the coach signing up directly or by our editorial team. If you believe a profile belongs to you, you may submit a verified claim via the “Claim this profile” flow on the coach page. Approved claims transfer control of the listing to you.

Coaches are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, services (courses, webinars, retreats, workshops), credentials and pricing. coachseekers does not endorse, certify, or guarantee any coach or service. You are responsible for evaluating any coach or service before purchase.

We may remove, edit or restrict any listing or content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our acceptable-use policies, with or without notice.

Coaches may subscribe to paid plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Elite). Pricing is shown on our Pricing page and is billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are at our discretion and described in our refund policy.

Bookings made directly between a coach and a client are between those parties. coachseekers does not currently process or hold those payments unless explicitly stated.

When a visitor submits an inquiry on a coach profile or service page, the inquiry is routed to coachseekers and, where the coach has direct notifications enabled, also delivered to the coach by email. By submitting an inquiry you consent to your contact details being shared with the relevant coach for the purpose of responding to your message.

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the coach or service. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant coachseekers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and adapt that content for the operation and promotion of the Service.

We may remove content that is defamatory, misleading, infringes intellectual property, or otherwise violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

The Service, including our trademarks, branding, design, code, and content (excluding user-submitted material), is owned by coachseekers and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or impersonating profile information;
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without our written permission;
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access it via unauthorised means;
• Use the Service to send spam, harass others, or distribute unlawful material;
• Misrepresent the source or nature of any inquiry, review, or claim.

You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continued provision would be unlawful. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will survive.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that coaches listed will deliver the outcomes you expect. Coaching is not a substitute for licensed medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, coachseekers and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold coachseekers harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we'll provide reasonable notice (for example by email or an in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after a change indicates your acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which coachseekers is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be addressed via good-faith discussion. If unresolved, it will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
